Quote of the week : “Government ignoring social media is like ignoring your spouse”
This Week’s Viral Madness:
First of all, these high school graduates from Kahuku High School in Hawaii:
These students performed 9 min worth of amazing in-sync dancing, on bleachers, in their graduation gowns-- and did we mention they sing the whole thing? Well, they do.
Check out the performance yourself if you haven’t already seen it, which we doubt, but hey, watch it again and see if your graduation ceremony can top it! #NailedIt
Speaking of videos… Youtube turned 10 last month and they made a really fun and clever video about the A-Zs of their platform by using Blackalicious’ Alphabet Aerobics.
As stated in the video description ‘with over 75 references and 18 filmmaking styles, [they've] tried to capture some of the richness and variety of YouTube from the last decade.’
With 10,692,320 views we guess you could say they did a good job.
But nothing beats the talk about Caitlyn Jenner breaking the Internet.
Ever since Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer from ABCNews, everybody has been raving about his ‘coming out’ as a woman, and from what we’ve seen, the reactions have been pretty positive!
It’s no surprise then that Caitlyn’s cover for Vanity Fair has gone viral after no more than 24 hours of being released.
Her Twitter reached 1M followers in 4 hours, and she now has 2.3M ! #twitterworldrecord #beatingObama #YouGoCaitlynJenner
So when some users were getting it wrong, Caitlin Dewey and her friend thought they might help these people get in the loop by creating the bot @she_not_he, which also went viral.
We thank you Caitlin and co.
The photographer is still searching for the bride and groom in order to gift them this candid shot of them in London’s gorgeous afternoon sunlight, so keep sharing !!
Looks like posting photos on the internet has a purpose after all ! *cough*cough*
